7News: Neighbors Host Demonstration

On October 22, 2017, I organized a rally of Erie residents for a photo shoot to voice our opposition to the operations at the Pratt and Waste Connections sites operated by Crestone Peak Resources, as well as the lack of any action by the COGCC to address the hundreds of complaints filed for odor and noise from the sites.

I said, “The problem is that it’s perfectly legal.” Transient odors were never corroborated by field inspectors at the COGCC, and noise from the site was never found to be out of compliance.

As a Trustee, I’ll be lobbying with the COGCC directly to change the noise and odor regulations to protect the residents in the communities in which these operators conduct business.
